Covers?

 I am thinking about doing covers for songs lately. I have gotten more and more attracted to singing...The thing is,I've only sang with my real voice in front of my sister,no one else. Can I be brave enough to sing with my real voice in front of all these people? I guess I need to not be afraid to sing in front of other people besides my sister yet....
